MEC Electrical Contractors and MEC Technologies worked as sub-contractors to C.E. Floyd Construction on the complete renovation of this 4 story 25,000’ Residence Hall. With an extremely aggressive work schedule MEC completed all electrical components including make safe demolition, a specified lighting package, extensive site lighting and installation of a 175kw Generator. MEC Technologies worked closely with the Babson IT Department and completed all structured cabling requirements including a new fiber backbone connecting all IDF’s to the build out of a new MDF. Also installed was a new Security System and WAP’s for wireless access.
