The Management Team

William Lemos, President, MEC Electrical
Combining his love of electrical work with a knack for business, Bill, along with his wife, Debbie, founded MEC Electrical Contractors and later, added MEC Technologies. Today, he oversees all operations and immerses himself in new business development initiatives with an eye toward sustainable growth.
Bill was a former partner in an electrical contracting company, project foreman for an electrical contractor and a field electrician. He holds a master electrician license and journeyman’s electrician license in Massachusetts and New Hampshire.
He is certified by the American Society of Healthcare Engineers (ASHE) and holds a certificate in health care construction. Bill is a member of Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC), serves on the Political Action Committee and is a member of the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA).
In his off time, he spends quality time with family and friends and enjoys golfing and fishing. On weekends you will find Bill on the coast of York, ME.

Deborah Lemos, President, MEC Technologies
Co-founder of MEC, and President of MEC Technologies this dynamo is recognized for her business skills that has lead the MEC Companies from inception.
She was named “Entrepreneur of the Year” by Cambridge Who’s Who, is certified by the American Society for Healthcare Engineers (ASHE) and oversees the MEC Companies accounting, marketing and business development activities. She also leads MEC in their philanthropic involvements.
MEC Technologies has earned a certificate as a Women’s Business Enterprise (WBE) by the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council (WEBNC).
Deborah obtained a B.A. in Business Administration from Northeastern University and an Associates Degree in Business Management from Middlesex Community College. She’s also passionate about giving back to the community. Deborah is currently corporator of Lowell Five Bank and Lowell General Hospital’s governing board and helped found Lowell-based Women Working Wonders which she now serves as a member of the Board of Trustees. She is also a past president of Lowell General Hospital Auxiliary and former board member of House of Hope in Lowell.
In her free time, Deborah likes to be with family and friends. On weekends you will find her on the coast of York, ME.

Dan Mistretta, Vice President of Electrical Construction, MEC Electrical
3Dan has over 15 years in the Electrical Construction Industry. Over these years, Dan has climbed through the ranks from Project Engineer, Project Manager and Senior Estimator to Vice President of Electrical Construction. He has been involved in many large-scale high-profile projects within the Commonwealth. In his roll, Dan works closely with all MEC Team members to ensure the projects are getting done within budget and to spec while also working closely with the estimating group to bring in new projects. He also continues building partnerships with MEC’s clients to maintain the growth of the company.
Dan obtained his Bachelor of Science in Construction Management degree from Fitchburg State University in 2007 and holds both his OSHA 10 and 30 certifications.
Away from the office, Dan enjoys spending time with his wife and two sons along with golfing and NHRA Drag Racing.

Jeffrey Corso, CTS-I, Vice President of Operations, MEC Technologies
Jeff has over 20 years of experience in the audio-visual industry. During that time, he has held various positions such as Sales Engineer, Manager of Engineering and Director of Operations. Jeff oversees all aspects of our audio-visual operations from design, estimation, implementation, quality control, service and most importantly customer relations. Jeff and the audiovisual team collaborate closely with the client and other divisions within MEC to ensure the client’s experience during the lifespan of their project is an excellent one.
Jeff has a degree in Business Management from the University of New Hampshire and has his Certified Technology Specialist – Installation (CTS-I) certification from AVIXA.
Outside of work Jeff enjoys spending time with his wife and six kids.

Michael O’Connor, Director of Structured Cabling, MEC Technologies
Michael has a strong knowledge of the structured cabling industry from his 30 years of experience and is passionate about it. He began his career working in the field as a technician and climbed the ladder to management. As a result he has earned the well deserved respect and possesses the unique ability to fully understand and manage the MEC field staff.
While managing ongoing cabling job’s Michael has a keen eye when it comes to estimating structured cabling projects. He also has the job cost skill set skills needed to bring in jobs within budget and ultimately providing satisfaction to the MEC clients. Currently he is running the infrastructure upgrades at Babson College and providing unsurpassed service to this client and many other of the MEC client base. Michael is well versed in the industry and is well liked by whomever he interfaces with.
Michael is Ortronics Management certified, Commscope Design and Engineering certified and also holds a OSHA 10 Certification.
In his spare time you will see Michael spending time with his family.

George Maniatis, Business Development Manager, MEC Technologies
George Maniatis joined MEC Technologies and Electrical, Inc. in 2021, and collaborates with clients, and finding new opportunities. George has over 30 years of sales and management experience, having previously worked in business development, human resources, account management, technology consultant, and sales manager roles.
Focusing on client relationships, George enjoys working with MEC clients discussing business trends and supporting their strategy and technology initiatives for continued and future growth. Owning his own business, he understands the importance of customer service and meeting deliverables on time and on budget.
George has a B.S. in Business Administration degree from Northeastern University-Boston, MA, and lives in Shrewsbury, MA with his wife and two children.
On his time off, George enjoys supporting community organizations he is involved with, sports, traveling, the outdoors, and spending time with family and friends.

Alysha Cardinale, Accounts Payable Supervisor & Document Management
Alysha graduated Wilmington High School in 2007. She has been in the Construction Industry since 2012 and brings 10 years of experience in Accounts Payable to MEC. She started out as the Accounts Payable – Office manager and worked her way up to AP Supervisor & Document Management. She is hard working and her ability to want to help others stands out. Alysha is also a Board Member of Lowell General Hospital’s Auxiliary. She looks forward to helping the Community of Lowell and representing The MEC Companies.
In her free time Alysha enjoys spending time making memories with family and friends.

Chuck Dolan, Sr. Estimator, MEC Electrical
8Chuck is our precision bid master who has the skill for making sure the quotes we provide cover everything from labor, supplies, equipment, logistics and coordination, to always be the most accurate. Most of his work is on big-ticket projects exceeding $1,000,000 and includes electrical work done for Lahey Health, Lockheed Martin, Lowell General Hospital, Babson College, and Beth Israel Deaconess Needham to name a few.
Chuck obtained a Project Management Certificate from Purdue University in 2006 and holds an OSHA 10 Hour Certificate. Chuck earned an Associate’s Degree in Commercial Photography from the New England School of Photography.
Away from the office, Chuck enjoys radio control flying and photography.

George Gray, Estimator, MEC Electrical
George joined MEC Electrical in 2022 after working as a Jr. Estimator and Project Engineer on large scale commercial projects. Now an Estimator, he prepares detailed quotes for projects that vary widely in size and type.
George earned his B.S. in Construction Engineering Technologies from the University of Maine in 2016 and holds an OSHA 10 certification.
In his free time George enjoys spending time with family and friends, as well as various outdoor activities.

Julie Heinrich, Financial Assistant, MEC Companies
Julie joined MEC in 2007 and has more than 15 years of experience in the accounting world with MEC.
Prior to joining the MEC Team, Julie was a District Financial Controller for an international provider of corporate food services. She was responsible for payroll, billings, financial statements and budgeting for accounts generating over $3 million in revenue.
Julie earned a B.S. in Management from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. She also holds a culinary degree from Le Cordon Bleu in Paris.
In her spare time Julie enjoys spending time with her husband and two children as well as cooking.

Steve Homsey, Audio Visual Sales Engineer, MEC Technologies
Steve has been in the audio visual industry since 2007. Steve joined MEC Technologies in 2017, after learning MEC was the leader in healthcare services in New England. With a strong background of AV design & TV headend upgrades, it was the perfect fit! Steve’s approach is providing customers with what works best for them. Steve’s background in Electrical Engineering, Operations, Purchasing & Sales experience is something he brings to the table, to the benefit of his clients. A favorite saying is “I can work with any budget number given”.
Steve is both a Crestron Certified AV Designer & a Extron Certified AV Designer. He also holds Dante (Audio over TCP/IP) Level 2 certification. Steve is also fully versed in Networks / Infrastructure. Steve continues extensive industry trainings; to always have the answer to technology challenges.
Outside of work Steve mostly enjoys golfing (mostly with his wife). Not easy, as has won multiple women’s long drive competitions at local tournaments.

Amanda Jakubajtys, Human Resource Manager
Amanda graduated from UMass Dartmouth with a degree in Human Resource Management. She brings over five years of experience in Human Resources. Amanda has strategically pivoted in dealing with the challenges Covid-19 has brought to her role at MEC. She is a natural with her employee interactions and an expert in her field. She is currently working on becoming SHRM certified. MEC is happy to have Amanda as part of the management team.
Outside of work Amanda enjoys cooking and tackling new recipes in the kitchen. She also enjoys spending quality time with her family and friends.

Chris Lardiere, CTS Senior Project Manager MEC Technologies
Chris has over fifteen years’ experience in the audio-visual Industry, starting as a delivery driver and working his way up through the ranks. Holding such titles as Technician, Lead Technician, Project Manager and Senior Project Manager.
Chris served his country as an enlisted man in the US Army. He enjoys golf, working out at the gym and spending time with his two daughters.

Patrick Lyons, Assistant Project Manager, MEC Electrical
Pat began his electrical career in 2016 as an apprentice for MEC Electrical Contractors, Inc. where he worked on a wide variety of healthcare, institutional, and commercial construction projects. After 4 years of working in the field and schooling Pat obtained his Journeyman Electrical License and was given the opportunity to expand his electrical career as an Assistant Project Manager for MEC. As an Assistant Project Manager at MEC Pat has been heavily involved in many high-profile healthcare projects including an ICU renovation at Lahey Hospital & Medical Center and OR Expansion at Anna Jaques Hospital. He enjoys tackling challenging projects and continues to expand his breadth of knowledge within electrical construction and project management industry.
Currently Pat is working towards a Master Electrician License as well as an Unrestricted Construction Supervisor License.
Outside of MEC Pat enjoys golfing and spending time with his friends/family.

David Volpe, Project Manager, MEC Electrical
Dave began his electrical knowledge by working with his father when he was a freshman in High School. Dave attended and graduated from Shawsheen Valley Technical Highschool after completing the Electrical Program. He is a Licensed Master Electrician, Head of the Safety Committee, has his OSHA 30, and is certified to train lift and bucket truck operators.
While at MEC he worked 5+ years in the field. He was the field foreman on the emergency standby electrical infrastructure for both Winchester Hospital and Lowell General Hospital Saints Campus. He started his role in project management early 2020 and has been tasked with the day to day purchasing, management, and finances of various projects.
During his free time Dave likes to spend time with friends and go on hikes with his wife, and two dogs Gus and Ely!

Jeff Reed, Project Manager, MEC Electrical
Jeff left this life in April of 2017. He gave MEC 11 years of dedication and service as a Project Manager for MEC Electrical. All of us at MEC miss this special guy but are grateful that he touched all of our lives. He will remain engraved in the threads of MEC forever.
