The Women Working Wonders Fund hosted their stunning The Power of the Purse Plus event last Thursday.👛

This annual event raises funds to benefit nonprofits focused on improving the lives of women and girls. In 2024, Women Working Wonders proudly awarded over $80,000 to various nonprofits to fund programs assisting women in transition, provide leadership development in girls and women, and more!

Rough is complete at this electrical project at the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Department in Goffstown, NH. Dispatch will be able to relocate starting in 2026!🚔

Also under this project scope is the fit out of another building going up adjacent to the new Sheriff’s Office. That space will become new offices owned by the University of New Hampshire.

Today is National Boss’s Day so we’re taking a minute to highlight the President and Vice President of MEC Electrical & Technologies, Inc.

Bill and Debbie Lemos have been leading MEC for the past 25 years through economic uncertainty, a pandemic, and copious other ups and downs throughout the last two and a half decades. They face each problem head on and have grown this company from three employees in 2000, to over 120+ full time employees today. Bill and Debbie have worked very hard to get MEC to where it is today and we couldn’t have hit our 25 year milestone without them!🍾

The renovation of Smith Hall at the University of New Hampshire is now complete!✅

MEC supplied electrical infrastructure for an upgraded plumbing system that services Smith Hall. In addition to this, there were small renovations to conference rooms and added site lighting. 💡

We were able to get some shots from the top of the scaffolding at our fire alarm infrastructure upgrade project at Paul Creative Arts Center.🎭

Our electrical team is working alongside Charters Brothers Construction to supply power to all new mechanical equipment and upgrade the electrical infrastructure.🛠️
