We held our office potluck last week right before the craziness of the holiday season sets in. Everyone brought their own unique dish which we enjoyed together in the conference room in front of the cozy, makeshift fireplace.🔥

Our friends over at ESC were kind enough to invite some of our team members out to the Bruins vs. Toronto Maple Leafs game earlier this week.🏒

We had a great time watching the B’s win with their crew who we love to have as both terrific friends and business partners!

Reminiscing on our work in helping to create the 8,800 square foot Bradley Athletic Center at Boston Trinity Academy. This space features a large basketball court, bleachers, courtside seating, locker rooms, a prep kitchen, and office space.

MEC installed a new 600A utility service, fully integrated fire alarm system, and state-of-the art lighting and gym controls. We also put in a new A/V system for future events.📣

Another fun ABC NH/VT Young Professionals Group in the books for our team!

Last Friday part of our crew attended this Charity Bowling Event at Striker’s East Bowling Center in Raymond, NH. All proceeds from the event will benefit Girls at Work, a non-profit organization that empowers girls with education and experience of power tools and building, allowing them to feel confident and independent.🛠️

The amenities and common areas at Hyde Park are really beginning to take shape!🏠

The amenities at this two building, 249 unit apartment complex will include an outdoor pool, kitchen space, play area for kids, a game room & golf simulator and fitness center.

The first of three phases of our Lowell General Hospital Cancer Center project is complete.🏥

Conducted alongside Sterling Construction as the general contractor, our scope included the electrical fit out, fire alarm and nurse call.

The UNH locker room project wrapped up recently with the installation of the new utility feed and standby automatic generator for the Field House. Also integrated into this electrical service is two bypass switches for an emergency portable generator.⚡️

Shut downs to relocate existing equipment to the new service will begin shortly!

We saw some really creative ideas for our first ever MEC Pumpkin Decorating Contest.🎃

Our office staff showed their artistic side with this contest and voted for the best pumpkin with the winner being a tie between the Pumpkin Spice Latte and SpongeBob’s Party House!

This hybrid OR & PACU project at a local hospital was completed within the fast-paced schedule due to the hard work and dedication of the whole electrical team involved.⚡️

Both the general contractor and hospital staff commended MEC for their commitment and long hours spent bringing this job to fruition on time. We were able to sneak in for some photos during training while OR staff learn how to use the new space!

The Women Working Wonders Fund hosted their stunning The Power of the Purse Plus event last Thursday.👛

This annual event raises funds to benefit nonprofits focused on improving the lives of women and girls. In 2024, Women Working Wonders proudly awarded over $80,000 to various nonprofits to fund programs assisting women in transition, provide leadership development in girls and women, and more!

Rough is complete at this electrical project at the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Department in Goffstown, NH. Dispatch will be able to relocate starting in 2026!🚔

Also under this project scope is the fit out of another building going up adjacent to the new Sheriff’s Office. That space will become new offices owned by the University of New Hampshire.
